เรื่องราวเริ่มต้นขึ้นจากครอบครัวเศรษฐีพ่อหม้ายลูก 3 ผู้คนที่โตตามแต่ก็ยังไม่คิดปฏิบัติการทำการ แต่ละคนก็มีนิสัยเอาแต่ใจผลาญเงินพ่อไปวันๆ กันคนละแบบ เริ่มจาก ฟิลลิป พี่ชายคนโตที่รูปร่างอ้วน มีนิสัยคิดฝันไอเดียทางธุรกิจที่ไม่เป็นผลแล้วมาขอเงินพ่อไปทำ ซึ่งพ่อเองก็ดันปฏิเสธลูกไม่ลงตามน้ำเข้าไปอีก ลูกชายคนรอง อเล็กซานเดอร์ เป็นหนุ่มรูปหล่อที่มีนิสัยพิสวาสสาวแก่ ตัวเขาเองมีหัวนักปฏิวัติแอนตี้ทุนนิยม แต่กลับเกียจคร้านขายของไม่เอาไหน ลูกสาวคนสุดท้อง สเตลล่า ก็กลับกลายเป็นเจ้าเพศหญิงของบ้าน วันๆ จัดแต่งานเลี้ยง

แถมยังทำท่าจะแต่งงานกับหนุ่มไม่รู้หัวนอนปลายเท้าที่บ่งบอกว่าเป็นเศรษฐีจากอาร์เจนติน่าอีก ซึ่งวีรกรรมชวนเจ็บปวดหัวของลูกทั้ง 3 คนก็นำมาซึ่งการทำให้พ่อคิดว่าจะต้องหาทางปรับปรุงแก้ไขสักทีหลังจากผ่านมา 20 กว่าปีจนเลยวัยเด็กไปแล้ว พ่อก็เลยวางแผนจัดฉากว่าตัวเราเองถูกตำรวจเข้ามาบุกบ้านข้อหาทุจริตการเงิน แล้วก็พาลูกหนีไปยังบ้านเก่าที่ห่างไกลของตระกูล พร้อมกับเริ่มให้ลูกทั้ง 3 คนออกไปจัดการงานหาเงินกลับเข้าบ้านเพื่อให้เอาตัวรอดเองให้ได้ ซึ่งก็กลายเป็นเรื่องราวกับการกลับผ่านชีวิตของทั้ง 3 คน แล้วก็ไม่น่าจะใช่เพียงแค่นั้น คนพ่อเองยังได้บทเล่าเรียนจากลูกกลับด้วยด้วยเช่นกัน

The story begins with a wealthy family, a widowed father with three children, who grow up but have not thought of doing business. Each of them had a wayward habit of wasting their father’s money in different ways, starting with Phillip, the fat eldest brother. Has a habit of dreaming up business ideas that don’t work and then asks his father for money to do.
