ในเมืองหนึ่งที่ชื่อว่ายูเนี่ยน เป็นเมืองที่เป็นชุมชนขนาดเล็ก ผู้คนทุกคนทุกหลังคาเรือนรู้จักกัน เป็นชุมชนที่เข้มงวดในศาสนาอย่างใหญ่โต เรื่องเริ่มที่บ้านของ ซาร่าห์ เฟียร์  แม่หมูสีดำได้คลอดลูกออกมา 12 ตัว เธอได้ช่วยมันทำคลอดจนกระทั่งเสร็จ รอดชีวิตทุกตัว
