โดยภาพรวมนั้น บักแตงโม ยังไม่ใช่ภาพยนตร์ตลกที่ดีอะไร หนังยังไม่มีมิติรวมทั้งจุดสำคัญ แต่ว่าก็ดูแล้วย่อยง่ายแบบเดียวกันนั่งบริโภคคอนเทนท์อยู่จอโทรทัศน์ที่บ้านตอนวันหยุด มันแทบจะเป็นหนังที่ไม่มีอะไรให้น่าเขียนจิตใจแล้ว เพียงแค่ความเด่นของศิลปินตลกทั้งยัง 2 ท่าน น้าค่อม กับ โรเบิร์ต แปลงเป็นจุดเย้ายวนใจที่ทำให้พวกเราซึบซัมไปกับการโลดแล่นบนหน้าจอเป็นคราวสุดท้ายของพวกเขา และก็พวกเขาก็ถ่ายทอดออกมาได้ดิบได้ดีรวมทั้งเปี่ยมไปด้วยเสน่ห์ มีความคิดว่านี่คงจะชอบใจคนชอบดูหนังไทย แต่ว่าถ้าหากจะเอาสาระอะไรก็แล้วแต่อย่ามาหาจากหนังหัวข้อนี้

Overall, Watermelon Bugs is not a good comedy movie. The movie has no dimensions and important points.
